Silk Screening

 

Step 1:

Choose your pottery piece.

Step 2:

Select a background color (preferably a lighter shade) and paint 3 layers.

Step 3:

Browse through our collection of silk screens and select your design(s).  We have several design themes ranging from flowers, nautical, intricate patterns, letters and so many more!

 

Step 4:

Take a darker color paint and mix with our special silk screen sand.  Place your silk screen onto your pottery and use your fingers to rub the paint and sand through the silk screen onto your piece.

Step 5:

Gently pull the silk screen off your piece. Then see that beautiful design on your pottery piece! 

We'll glaze and fire up your one-of-a-kind piece and within 7 to 10 days, it will be ready to take home.  We'll give you a call or text when it's ready for pick-up!  (And if you give us a call when you're double-parked outside our studio, we can bring your pottery out to your car!)

Quick Reminder

After you have finished painting your pottery, we will give you a call in 7-10 days to come in and pick up your pottery pieces.  We are CLOSED on Tuesdays and we only hold the pottery pieces for up to 30 DAYS.  If you need a time extension please do not hesitate to call and just let us know.
